CSF Note (WRD)

Content:  Kiritshenko, 1916d: 112-113 recognised subgenera within Colpura but did not indicate which subgenus, if any, was synonymous with Vittorius. Bergroth’s 1918: 46 footnote stated that Kiritshenko had made Vittorius ‘a straight synonym’ of Colpura but Blöte, 1936: 43 clearly regarded the genera as distinct, describing a second species of Vittorius.
