  • Dolling, 2011, This nominal genus is clearly close to the genera Nemausus, Nariscus and Zulubius and probably synonymous with one of them. Göllner-Scheiding (2000: 45) placed it in synonymy with Zulubius, with reservations. Bergroth (1910b: 234) observed that Hypselopus tripunctatus Dallas, 1852, catalogued here as a synonym of Nemausus sordidatus, perhaps (‘vielleicht’) belonged to Oxycranum.
