The five species originally included by Breddin are: Colpura angulicollis Breddin, 1900, Colpura armillata Breddin, 1900, Colpura imbellis Breddin, 1900, Colpura inermicollis Breddin, 1900 and Colpura tuberculicollis Breddin, 1900. Brailovsky & Barrera, 2005b transferred angulicollis, armillata and tuberculicollis to subgenus Pterocolpura, leaving only imbellis and inermicollis in subgenus Microcolpura
